Job Title : AGM/GM – Buyer Operations

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about building customer (buyer) base for each of the waste segments across India through an efficient and seamless onboarding operations team.This function will own the entire lifecycle and account management of the buyer customers including various on-ground activities, project management with a focus on consistent practices whilst enhancing the effectiveness of the field operations, compliance audit and also empowering the field teams through right delegations.The sole aim of this role is to setup, scale up the buyer management creating long term strategic value through transparency and trustworthiness.

Job Responsibility & Duties

The essential duties and responsibilities are:
1. Head the various activities/verticals which are part of the buyer onboard management including call centre/ control room.
2. Identify and onboard waste processors who adopts SDG goals, Pollution control board norms and operates inline with ESG parameters.
3. Promote circularity and build comprehensive database of recycle industry to implement “Cradle-to-cradle” vision for every disposal through Emines platform.
4. On boarding activities of buyers as per the compliance checklist is key and no exception to be made
5. Ensure all buyers are compliant throughout their membership with Emines and keep monitoring and alerting of any compliance lapses or expiry of licences etc
6. Execution of Operational on ground compliance activities of buyers /field level project activities including safety and ensuring delivery as per the agreed timeline.
7. Facilitate comprehensive due-diligence of buyers through the compliance management and record on the findings and take necessary actions including surprise audits.
8. Positively impacting the P&L, i.e. the usage metrics of buyer onboard lifecycle, compliance tracking, customer experience and satisfaction index, direct cost of operations, the efficiency of the operations etc.
9. Effective onboarding of right buyers to support the disposal of customer (Sellers) at a better commercial and compliance. The measurement of success is based on the timely onboarding of right buyers for disposals of all type of waste products/segments across India.
10. Actively coordinate with each of the business verticals (market place) and the clusters thereof on a daily basis for achieving the above.
11. Driving continuous improvement. Create processes, tools and their review, improvements and implementation from time to time. Be the ambassador for imbibing a process-oriented approach especially for recurring activities across the organisation and drive the culture of delivering right – every time.
12. Primary point of contact for the developments in the product development, defining the buyer dash-boards, reporting requirements, testing the product enhancements and provide continuous feedback.
13. Challenge the existing ways of doing things, i.e. status quo, and drive changes to enhance customer experience and profitability. Identify and implement out-of-the-box ideas. Use data, frequent field visits etc. to find insights and improvement areas.
14. Perform research and gather data to help a company identify right buyers for its products or services. Continuously gather data on industry size, growth, issues & challenges and major seller & buyers in the market.
15. Research any new policies and regulations that need to be incorporated into the product to ensure compliance as well ahead of competition and build awareness/ train the buyers accordingly.
16. Coordinate with the learning and development team for training arrangements for new tools, processes, developments and facilitate training of buyers.
17. Coordinating with the central functions like technology, customer support, operations design, learning and development, finance, marketing, HR etc. to tap their expertise and optimize the day-to-day execution machinery.

Qualifications: Graduate in any discipline or diploma in technical education.
Work Experience: 8-12 years of experience including as a business and operations head. Experience with waste management, logistics, supply chain will be an added advantage. Experience with command center like functions will be a strong plus.

• Knowledge in working with waste management industry on similar role is an advantage
• Be a self-starter who thrives in a rapidly growing organization. Agility and ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements and scope and priorities.
• Good understanding of and passion for new age technology concepts.
• Person with good analytical, project management, problem solving, oral and written communication skills, entrepreneurial and data-driven decision-making approach will be a right fit for this position.

Working Condition : This position requires case to case basis travel for overseeing projects, client meetings.

Remuneration and Benefits: General – industry standard
